All eyes & hooves are glossed. Hooves, eyes, ears and addional small items are done with many layers of color to get the right effect. Logos & seams removed I have used many different mediums over the years(OK decades) and I have found to enjoy oils the most. I do use pastels, airbrush among others to get the effect. I try to paint as often as possible. My job is a Photographer and travel quite abit. But I will take orders. I do trade. I will have a Want List posted soon. I do list on eBay(barq333) and Model Horse Xchange. I always include a COA with each model.

This horse came out great. Listed now on eBay. Ends 7/30/09. Many thin layers of paint were used plus pastels to get it right. Used a picture to get all the details. The camera did wash out some of the details. I have many people stating that the model is much nicer then the pictures. Just check the feedback.

I've been having quite abit of fun with chanmpanges. Really striking with the overo pattern Shaded legs, hazel eyes(glossed) & rich dark mane & tail. Another one for eBay that will be listed. SOLD!

Painted him a liver chestnut with spotting on the blanket and in the roaning. Took the pattern from a real horse. Molted skin, multi-coloed eyes, roaning mixed mane & tail, striped hooves plus all the little extras. Quite a number of breeds he could be shown as. He is a stablemate scale. Will look great in the fence classes and dressage with that control look he has. Never shown! $120
